Student See, Student Do
Tonight at home we were greeted with our kindergarten student's love for school. You know your
school is making a difference when you can here your child's teacher's voice coming straight from the mouth of your little guy. I can tell that Mrs. Lyons provides daily reminders of personal best, effort, and no put downs as they become words he uses. We were having tally marks of good behavior as Carson kept track of all the good things we were doing.
My favoirte 'schoolism' came when Carson thought his brother gave him a put down. He turned around, put his hands on his hips, and said, "That was a put down. You now owe me three put ups!" Can you imagine what life would be like if we all used this same sentiment. Life would be a much happier place.
